Threaded throughout the design is layers of meaning and symbolism that embody our beliefs and values in everything we do under our brand.

Cranes are an integral motif in Chinese mythology. They represent longevity, health, and happiness. A character that often intertwined in legendary stories of the Taoist gods and symbolic of an eternal promise as Cranes stay together for life. 

Our custom red and white embroidery, "天长地久" reads, “as long as heaven and earth exist.” One way of saying, 'forever' or, 'for life'. Our products are designed with longevity in mind, and the hope that we too can take actions towards living a long and healthy life. This line is also quoted from the Tao Te Ching, the original Taoist text.

In Asian culture, bamboo represents resilience and adaptability. As James Clear writes, “Bamboo can barely be seen for the first five years as it builds extensive root systems underground before exploding ninety feet into the air within six weeks.”

The three Dragon/Honour Mahjong tiles represent the three Confucian values:

發 ‘fa’ : Strike rich.

中 ‘zhong’: Power, bullseye.

白 ‘bai’: purity, fresh starts.

Our inspiration for this design has come from many cultures in the world, including Irezumi tattoos, NASA patches, Bosozoku, Chinese Porcelain, and traditional opera costume embroidery.
